The S11498 and S11499 series are a new family of PIN photodiodes that offer significantly increased near-infrared sensitivity. They feature a high sensitivity of 0.6A/W at the 1064 nm YAG laser wavelength; which is up to three times the sensitivity of a typical silicon photodiode. They are ideal for a wide range of applications such as YAG laser monitors, high speed measurements, range finders, fibre communications and many more.
