Edmund Optics Inc. has added f/11 and f/16 lenses with 16-, 25- and 35-mm focal lengths to its Techspec compact instrumentation imaging line.

The lenses feature low lens-to-lens variation and a broadband antireflection coating for maximum light transmission. Their adjustable, lockable focus enables users to set the best position prior to integration into instrumentation.

Each focal length is available in a range of f numbers, allowing the user to modify resolution, throughput and depth of field. A variety of aperture stop versions are offered to provide maximum flexibility in lens selection. Customized f-number versions also are available.

The lenses are designed for volume integration applications such as analytical medical devices, including benchtop-based blood analyzers.
