Coherent’s new EnergyMax series of “meterless” laser energy sensors incorporates miniaturized electronics integrated within the sensor head cable itself, providing direct USB and RS-232 PC interfacing. This configuration expands Coherent’s Meterless Advantage from power sensors into energy sensors and facilitates their use in embedded systems, simplifies calibration and lowers total cost of ownership.
