A new version of the VivoSight OCT multibeam optical coherence tomography scanner from Michelson Diagnostics incorporates a microcamera that provides a real-time, color, magnified view of the skin lesion being scanned.
The new microcamera image is shown simultaneously with the vertical and en face OCT images to provide a threefold view of the lesion. All three views can be stored for later review by a clinician to aid skin cancer diagnosis.
