Made for short-range distance sensing, the OD Mini Sensor from Sick Inc. provides precise measurement for industrial tasks.

Offering measurement ranges from 100 to 250 mm, the OD Mini uses CMOS receiver technology to ensure accurate, high-resolution measurements regardless of surface material brightness or color. An integrated amplifier unit reduces the amount of cabling.

The stand-alone device is available in aluminum or stainless steel sensor housings with a teach-in LED display or external teaching input. A range of interfaces, including analog and switching outputs, ensure integration into positioning, classification and quality control applications in the robotics, machine tools, electronics, automotive and packaging industries.
