PALM BEACH, Fla., March 18, 2016 — Sonavation Inc. has announced fingerprint imaging through smartphone organic LED displays.

The technology will allow smart device manufacturers to increase the usable size of their displays by 10 to 20 percent by eliminating the need for a separate inactive area for a fingerprint sensor.

Applications include displays for smartphones, tablets, wearables and devices.
