Carl Zeiss Meditec has unveiled the OPMI Lumera 700 and Rescan 700, surgical microscopes that feature integrated intraoperative OCT.

Designed for ophthalmic surgeons, it provides visualization of all structures of the eye, including those transparent in the anterior and posterior segments, eliminating interruption during surgery. It also allows surgeons to monitor progress and verify clinical results.

Images captured by the new microscopes provide surgeons with views below the surface of the surgical field.
