fCardThe model 7090 optical switching card from Keithley Instruments Inc. is available in 1 x 4 and 1 x 8 switching configurations for the assembly of systems that can accommodate up to four or eight devices under test. It enables DC and RD switching between several instruments, for a single instrument between multiple devices, or a combination of both. The company says it offers effective automation, faster testing, shorter integration time and improved ROI on existing test instruments. The optical switch is suitable for channel monitoring of optoelectronic devices in the construction of fiber optic networks in telecommunications and for applications such as laser diodes, photodiodes, optical add/drop multiplexers, LEDs and organic LEDs, and VCSEL arrays.
