Resolve-Optics_pr15-image.jpgA high-temperature optical system that has been field-proven for monitoring processes in a furnace to 950 °C without requiring cooling has been launched by Resolve Optics Ltd. Because of specially designed prisms, the system requires only air cooling for most applications at even higher temperatures. It can operate at a variety of fields of view and at angles of view of up to 90°. Any length and diameter of endoscope can be accommodated, enabling in situ microinspection. Other applications include noninvasive analysis of incineration, recycling, smelting, chemical manufacturing and operations inside furnaces.
