The OTS9030 is a compact multichannel optical test system (OTS) for 10-Gb/s SONET/SDH testing and analysis. Available from Tektronix Inc., the portable instrument enables optical equipment installers to validate systems on site with the same tests used in the factory. The OTS9030 is a five-slot chassis compatible with other OTS family modules, software, test programs and operational procedures. When appropriately configured, it can test multiple channels and can run multiple tests simultaneously, thereby reducing test times.
