Optical Coherence Tomography is a technology with diverse applications from retinal imaging to laser welding. Lumedica OCT imaging systems are compact and compatible with a variety of applications. The 3rd iteration of the OQ LabScope includes a faster image acquisition rate than prior models (34 kHz) and integrates 3D rendering into the software.
The OQ LabScope product line utilizes light sources from 840 - 860 nm. The base model, the OQ LabScope 3.0, acquires 34,000 a-scans per second and has a maximum axial resolution of 6 µm in tissue. Common applications include biomedical research, quality inspection, and optics education, or customize a system for your use case.
Increase the scan rate with the OQ LabScope 3.0 /X, which collects 80,000 a-scans per second. Improve the axial resolution with the OQ LabScope 3.0 /R model or OQ LabScope 3.0 /SX which achieves 2 - 3 µm axial resolution in tissue. The OQ LabScope 3.0 /XRD increases imaging range in certain materials and offers both the increased rate and axial resolution.
The OQ StrataScope utilizes a SLD at 1310 nm to improve the imaging depth in highly light-scattering materials like skin or water. This is the recommended model for investigations in skin and similar biological materials.
