The OV6211 global shutter sensor by OmniVision Technologies Inc. is suited for space-constrained machine and computer vision applications.

It is designed for applications such as laptops, tablets, mobile phones, wearable electronics, gaming devices and security systems, and enables gesture recognition, eye tracking, depth and motion detection, and biometrics using low power. The OV6211 can capture 400 × 400 resolution video at 120 fps.

It features a 3 µm OmniPixel3-GS global shutter pixel, as well as two low-power modes. It is ultracompact, fitting into a 3.2 mm × 3.2 mm chip scale package.
