For applications including water analysis, concentration monitoring in slurries, and monitoring of fermentation and of processes of oxidation, Sentronic GmbH has announced the getOtwo optical oxygen sensor with a 12-mm shaft for measurements in liquid media. Operating temperature range is from 0 to 50 °C, and response time is <1 min. The device is insensitive to CO2 and H2S, and to electrical and magnetic interferences. The USB interface enables direct connection to a PC or a handheld PC. Power supply is 5 V/100 mA, typical, and 5 V/200 mA maximum.
