TUCSON, Ariz., June 8, 2022 — The AccuFiz® D on-axis dynamic interferometer from 4D Technology Corp. features a 600-mm aperture beam expander, measuring remote cavities, optical thickness, and homogeneity, even in challenging environments.

Its single-frame acquisition method provides vibration immunity and mitigates turbulence-caused phase errors by averaging them out from measurements. On-axis Fizeau measurements avoid the retrace error induced when using spatial carrier dynamic techniques, improving performance. The mainframe interferometer features a low-coherence laser to separate the signals from parallel surfaces in an optical system under test, permitting measurement of front and back surfaces of plane-parallel optics.
