One-Wrench Optical Concept

Siskiyou Corp. has announced a one-wrench concept to several of its optical mounts and adjustment mechanisms including kinematic and gimbal mounts, translation stages and laser diode holders/positioners.
The adjustment, mounting and locking screws on the mount on the devices are now operated using the same size (5/64 in. or 2.0 mm) hex wrench. This enables the user to mount and align even complex optomechanical systems using a single wrench, thus enhancing convenience and ease-of- use.
