BrightView Technologies’ optical films for smartphones and tablets use micro-lens array technology and are engineered for beam profile management, optimizing light control and distribution for clearer image capture and improved flash performance. In flash applications, the films widen and diffuse the light beam, increasing efficiency while eliminating harsh hotspots for more balanced, natural illumination. When applied to image sensors, the films optimize both direct and ambient light reflection, increasing photon capture and expanding the effective field of view for higher-quality imaging. The optical films are used in a broad range of technology sectors, including consumer electronics, automotive, lighting, augmented reality and virtual reality, horticulture, and more.
