SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 13, 2021 — Optical-to-electrical ConverterThe J736 single-channel, compact, high-voltage optical-to-electrical converter from Highland Technology Inc. is a small, rugged device that allows for the flexible location of transmission.

The device provides manual adjustment of the optical-electrical discriminator threshold and output pulse voltage. Clean, fast, direct-current-coupled 50-Ω pulse output is provided and adjustable from 0.8 to 20 V. The typical rise/fall is 1 ns, with a minimum width of <2 ns, and a 100-MHz pulse rate.

Logic link jitter is typically <20 ps RMS when used with companion J720 or J724 electrical-optical converters.
