BUFFALO, N.Y., May 31, 2016 — Titan Tool Supply Inc. has announced the V-CAD 1 optical area measuring device to ensure precise and fast measurement of 2D geometries.

The system is suited for the measurement of profiles made of plastic, aluminum, wood, rubber, rubber-metal or metal, as well as for stamped parts of any kind such as templates, seals, PCB and other objects. A monochrome, ultrahigh-definition CCD camera ensures resolutions in the micron range.

The high-resolution optical equipment of the V-CAD 1 ensures distortion-free measurement with excellent depth of field over the entire calibrated measuring range. Even workpieces of up to 60 mm in height can be measured.
