The octal channel Seagull 452, quad channel Seagull 252, and dual channel Seagull 152 from Credo are optical digital signal processors with integrated VCSEL, EML, and SiPho drivers. The Seagull 452 family allows for extended host side reach, supporting seamless operation over short and long PCB channels beyond the VSR specifications without having to modify the device settings. The products feature fourth generation DSPs on host and line sides, as well as line side Rx performance-enhancing features specific to optical link and component impairments.
