KLEVE, Germany, Aug. 1, 2022 — Optical Emission Spectroscopy AnalyzerThe SPECTROMAXx LMX10 ARC/SPARK optical emission spectroscopy analyzer from SPECTRO Analytical Instruments GmbH is designed for next-generation advanced elemental analysis in metal producing and fabricating plants, and iron and nonferrous foundries.

The system delivers repeatability, reproducibility, and reliability in material control analyses from incoming materials to in-process testing to final quality inspections. The basic SPECTROMAXx features a single air optic, with CMOS sensors. It extends the relevant and applicable elemental wavelength range from 233 to 670 nm. In addition, a new option analyzes relevant wavelengths to 766 nm, covering potassium. The SPECTROMAXx Advanced features an added UV optic to handle a lower spectral range from 120 nm to 235 nm. This includes a new capability to analyze oxygen in copper. In addition, a new option analyzes relevant wavelengths to 766 nm, covering potassium.
