OTTAWA, Ontario, Jan. 22, 2021 — Optical FiltersIridian Spectral Technologies Ltd. has announced a line of ultra-performance optical filters specifically designed for real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) applications.

To support the rapidly growing use of PCR in the rapid diagnosis of diseases such as COVID-19, the fluorescence filter sets improve the signal-to-noise ratio for these instruments. Standard sets address fluorochromes including FAM, HEX, ROX, Cy5, and Cy5.5.

The devices can be customized for specific instrument needs or to address other fluorescence channels.
