MEER, Belgium, April 19, 2017 — Optical Gas ImagingThe GFx320 Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) camera from Flir Systems Inc. is designed for use inside ATEX Zone 2 hazardous locations.

The GFx320 meets sensitivity standards and automatically tags files with the GPS data often required for regulatory reporting. It is capable of imaging a gas that is half methane/half propane at a concentration of 10,000 ppm at a flow rate of 60g/hr or less, from a ¼-in. diameter orifice.

The camera is capable of imaging a wide array of gas compounds and was designed to see the hydrocarbons of methane, benzene, propane, butane, ethane, ethanol, ethylbenzene, ethylene, heptane, hexane, isoprene, methyl ethyl ketone, methanol, methyl isobutyl ketone, octane, pentane, propylene, toluene, xylene and 1-pentene.
