The Moonstone single- or multi-wavelength optical laser source from Lightelligence Co. Ltd. is a small-footprint device for a broad range of applications including optical and quantum computing, optical input-output, lidar, and sensing.

The source is housed in a compact, semi-hermetical package that can be customized for different form factors. It offers up to eight wavelengths, high laser output power, low-power consumption, and low-loss optical coupling and thermal control. Its electrical interface consists of a 21-pin flexible printed circuit board connect cable and connector that accepts control signals from a host control board. The electrical current drives the laser chips and thermoelectric cooling, with a resistance temperature detector controlling and monitoring the laser module temperature.
