CAMARILLO, Calif., Feb. 17, 2022 — Optical Light SourceThe OP350 Optical Light Source from OptoTest Inc. is a handheld field device for mixed multimode and single-mode fiber testing.

Designed for installers, contractors, and field technicians, the source combines multiple source wavelengths and functions into one compact package. It is available in a wide range of models including LED-only, laser-only, and mixed LED and laser sources. Available wavelengths include 470 to 1300 nm for LED sources and 1310 to 1625 nm for laser sources. Ultrastable LED and laser sources are available without requiring warm-up time and can be used for long-term monitoring and performance under varying optical return loss.
