QUEBEC CITY, June 10, 2016 — Exfo Inc. has announced the launch of MaxTester 945 Telco optical loss test set (OLTS), delivering insertion loss, optical return loss and fiber length measurements at two wavelengths in five seconds via fully automated bidirectional analysis.

Designed to help Telco field technicians achieve faster, first-time-right system acceptance, this direct replacement for Exfo's FOT-930 has a tablet-inspired form factor.

Step-by-step reference wizard and intelligent fault diagnosis provides expert guidance throughout the test process to ensure immediate efficiency by first-time users while removing risk of errors or negative loss. A test job that traditionally requires around eight hours can now be done in two-and-a-half hours.
