Optical Measuring MachineThe Metrios optical measuring machine from Vici & C SpA has been updated to increase its usability and load capacity with a robust lifting stage and other features.

The system is available in a fixed tabletop version or as a mobile table version, with a high-resolution camera that provides clear images. The vertical stroke runs up to 80 mm also in the tabletop versions and remains >100 mm for the fixed tabletop version. The feature enables working with jigs and clamping systems. Updated software includes three software environments. The Run view runs programs automatically with attention to detail and a practical touchscreen. The instant Sand Box mode allows users to measure a single piece quickly and easily with a few hand gestures. The Full Programming mode is enhanced with a reference function that allows users to orient the parts to be measured, capturing even the smallest details.

An "eagle eye" function always places the part to be measured at the optical center, improving reproducibility and simplifying the program setup.
