LONGWOOD, Fla., Oct. 29, 2019 — Optical ReceiverThe 7511A-1-04 high-sensitivity optical receiver from Analog Modules Inc. includes a 200-µm InGaAs avalanche photodiode (APD) with a high-gain, low-noise preamplifier for use in medical applications, laboratory instrumentation, lidar, and range-finding.

The InGaAs APD offers operation across a wavelength range from 900 to 1700 nm at bandwidths up to 40 MHz. The compact construction and printed circuit board mounting capability makes the 7511A-1-04 ideal for miniature applications. Alternate detector sizes, custom bandwidths, and gain requirements are available. The 7511A-1-04 is classified as EAR 99 and is not subject to ITAR.
