AMERSFOORT, Netherlands, March 9, 2016 —
The AQ6376 optical spectrum analyzer from Yokogawa Europe BV is designed for operation in the shortwave- and midwave-infrared (SWIR and MWIR) ranges, measuring signals with wavelengths up to 3.4 μm.
The analyzer covers wavelengths from 1500 to 3400 nm and uses an advanced monochromator design to help separate spectral signals in close proximity to one another, improving dynamic range by reducing the influence of stray light. Measurement speeds of up to 0.5 s/100 nm are featured.
The device is designed for academic researchers and optical device manufacturers with their own in-company laboratories, active in environmental monitoring and biomedical industries. Applications include environmental monitoring for air pollution analysis, IR spectroscopy, scientific and medical diagnostics, light source manufacturing and nonlinear super-continuum light generation.
