Meller Optics Inc. has announced a full line of precision optics that can be supplied uncoated, specifically for optical coaters, or coated to specification for OEMs and end users.

The substrates include sapphire, ruby, fused silica, YAG, spinel, germanium, silicon, zinc selenide, zinc sulfide, common laser glasses, BK-7 and quartz, and calcium, magnesium and barium fluoride. Manufactured to specification in sizes from ½- to 5-in. O.D. with ±0.00025-in. tolerance, they are offered uncoated for optical coaters or finished with reflective, antireflection and dual-band coatings.

Featuring λ/10 flatness per inch, parallelism to 2 arcsec, and surface finishes to 10-5 scratch-dig per MIL-PRF-13830, depending upon the material and configuration, the substrates can be supplied as planoconvex and planoconcave, biconvex and biconcave, and meniscus lenses, and as plane, wedged, and tapered windows and substrates.
