ANDOVER, Mass., Feb. 17, 2023 — The 100G-ER1-40 and 8x100G-ER1-nWDM SFP56-DD optical transceivers from SiFotonics Technologies Co. Ltd. can be deployed for new-generation switches and routers supporting broad optical networking usage.
    
The small form-factor pluggable transceivers support single-lambda 100 G over extended reach, enabling high-port-density switch and routers with 100 G connectivity beyond 10 km. They feature a wide range of operation temperature support from -40 ° to 85 °C, enabling outside plant applications and extending 100 G connectivity to 5 G front haul and broadband access. Applications include 5 G xHaul, broadband access aggregation, optical transport, and data center interconnects.
