CHENGDU, China, March 15, 2023 — Eoptolink Technology Inc. Ltd. has extended its optical transceiver portfolio to include 800-, 400-, and 100-G multimode bidirectional (BIDI) models.

The 800- and 400-G versions are available in both octal small-form-factor pluggable and quad small-form-factor pluggable DD800 form factors. The 800-G SR4.2 transceiver uses 850- and 910-nm VCSELs with 106-Gbps wavelengths. Two wavelengths are combined bidirectionally onto a single fiber. The 800-G SR4.2 uses 4+4 fibers in an MPO-12 connector interface, enabling a smooth upgrade path from 400 to 800 G without the need to replace the fiber infrastructure.
