Lambda-Research_model-view-2.jpgLambda Research Corp. has unveiled the TracePro 5.0 software for optical modeling, design and analysis. This version delivers enhanced light source modeling, enabling users to combine multiple light sources with various wavelength spectrums in one Trace-Pro model and to analyze numerous light source interactions in the same ray trace. It enables them to customize a surface source database within the program; for example, they can specify light source behavior dependent upon specific wavelength, temperature and emission angle. Users also can select a light source wavelength to be traced for all source types, and they can define fluorescence emission wavelengths for each fluorescent object. A compatible light source property wizard is available.
