The LensMechanix application from Zemax is designed for Creo Parametric, enabling engineers to streamline optomechanical product design.

LensMechanix for Creo Parametric allows mechanical engineers to load all lenses, mirrors, sources, and detectors from OpticStudio as Creo parts, without STEP, IGES, or STL files. They can then start designing mechanical structures around optical components using exact optical geometry and are able to validate that they haven’t affected the optical performance by monitoring changes in spot size, beam clipping, and image contamination.

OpticStudio files are loaded, and then engineers can design exact optical geometry. Surface finishes an be applied, and designs are validated, generating ISO 10110 drawings.
