ULM, Germany, June 16, 2022 — The 760-nm and 763-nm VCSEL solutions from TRUMPF Photonic Components are designed for oxygen sensing in industrial applications.

No gas other than oxygen shows high absorption at these emission wavelengths. They can be used in demanding industrial, automotive, or medical settings. Non-contact laser measurement covers a wide temperature range and allows simultaneous determination of process pressure and temperature. Active temperature and polarization control offers a large detection range with high resolution and accuracy.
