Modulight Inc. is offering a photodynamic therapy (PDT) illumination kit for R&D applications. PDT is a type of treatment for cancer, bacterial infections and inflammation that is based on combining a laser source with a photosensitive drug.

The kit offers parallel illumination for drug screening on standard microplates and for examining other photosensitive samples. It supports all major PDT wavelengths between 630 and 760 nm and is compatible with all power level requirements, even for simultaneous multiwavelength operation.

The kit is part of the recently released family of light sources for PDT illumination applications from R&D to commercialization.
