Laser Energy Sensor
Ophir, PhotonicsRequest Info
The PE9-ES-C pyroelectric laser energy sensor from Ophir Photonics is suitable for low-energy, short-pulse YAG and harmonic generation applications, as well as low-energy, long-pulse lasers.
Operating from 150 nm to 12 µm, the sensor measures laser energies as low as 50 nJ at repetition rates up to 10 kHz. It features an 8-mm active-aperture area and supports pulse widths to 20 µs, while a user-adjustable threshold prevents false readings in noisy environments.
The sensor can achieve power measurement with repetitive pulses, single-shot energy and laser power tuning. Pulse energies can be displayed numerically or in graphs, and up to 250,000 points of data can be stored onboard in nonvolatile memory.
