The system can run two assays labeled with different PET isotopes or PET/SPECT isotopes concurrently in the same animal. It provides a power advantage of within-subject designs, resulting in reliable results and the use of fewer disease models. Concurrent imaging delivers more statistically reliable results than other multimodal in-vivo imaging setups.
