Martin, Froeschner & Associates' Series 99 photodetector modules incorporate extremely fast photo-diodes and monolithic microwave amplifiers and have a spectral range from 850 to 1750 nm. These compact ultrafast and supersensitive instruments are true-DC coupled and have internal batteries and an adjustable gain feature. Sensitivity can be set with a continuous four-turn or discrete 10-position selector to produce volt-level signals at incident light levels ranging from microwatts to milliwatts.
