Sensors.jpgThe LC series linear photodiode arrays have been unveiled by Sensors Unlimited Inc., part of Goodrich Corp. Covering the wavelength range from 0.9 to 2.6 μm, the arrays feature a proprietary readout integrated circuit that has an autozero function to reduce dark current and fixed pattern nonuniformity. A two-stage thermoelectric cooler and thermally optimized materials accommodate multichannel spectrometers that require high sensitivity, low power consumption and long-term stability. The user can select one of four gain settings and can control readout timing and exposure. The arrays provide antiblooming protection and a large-active-area 50 × 250-μm pixel size. Readout is up to 108 pixels per second.
