The X1-1 optometer from Gigahertz-Optik Inc. is a handheld device that combines color measurement with photometer/radiometer capabilities in one instrument. It is ergonomically designed and can be used with a variety of single- and multisensor and sphere-based detector heads. Features include autoranging from 0.1 pA to 200 µA, a run/stop dose function, integration times selectable between 20 ms and 1 s, on/off backlighting, computer control and power via a USB interface, and optional Windows-based software with a free USB cable, terminal software and a DLL file. A high-contrast four-line LCD with detector ID enables simultaneous operation and display of up to four detector inputs for measurement of color chromaticity coordinates X, Y and U', V', illuminance/luminance, correlated color temperature, UV-VIS-NIR irradiance/radiance and luminous/radiant power.
