BUFFALO GROVE, Ill., July 20, 2011 — The PIXCI A310, a frame grabber launched by Epix Inc. for high-resolution, high-quality analog video, acquires images from monochrome or component RGB color cameras with formats that include RS-170, CCIR, RS-343, VGA, SVGA, XGA, WXGA, SXGA, SXGA+, WXGA, WSGA+ and UXGA.
Many capture resolutions are available, including 1920 × 1080-pixel, 1920 × 1080i, 1280 × 720-pixel, 720 × 480-pixel and 720 × 576-pixel, using programmable pixel clock frequencies from 12 to 165 MHz.
The frame grabber uses a PCI Express x4 slot for capturing up to 30 bits per pixel of the high-resolution RGB video. The 64-bit memory addressing allows capture of image sequences directly to a PC memory for minutes or hours.
An optional XCAP-Std program captures image sequences to a hard drive and performs a wide range of image processing, measurement and tracking functions.
The XCAP-Lite imaging program, provided at no charge, provides software control of image capture and all board functions using an intuitive “capture & adjust” dialog.
