Thorlabs has introduced the PM300 series, an addition to its extensive power meter line.

The PM300 series provides two input channels that allow ratio or differential measurements for direct comparison of the optical power of two beams.

This unit is compatible with all Thorlabs photodiode and thermopile power meter sensors. Furthermore, any conventional anode- or cathode-grounded photodiode (max. 10mA output) can be connected, which enables the use of more specialized detectors for specific power measurements, e.g., for mid-infrared wavelengths.

Features include:
  • Programmable channels -- monitor, difference, ratio, math functions, linear and log values, attenuation
  • USB2.0 interface
  • Large graphics display -- 240 x 128 pixels
  • Compatible sensors -- S100 (photodiode, both channels), S200 (thermal, one-channel) power-meter sensors, common photodiodes
