The unstacking is supported by a vision control tool which checks out for multiple pick-ups and corrects the sequence by separating the laser bars into a special splitting station. A full automated optical inspection from both facets, top and bottom, of the laser bars enables state-of-the-art quality control.
Based on a predefined and customized pass/fail-criteria-catalog, the components are inspected and sorted accordingly. The system typically checks for general break outs, dirt, scratches, chipping, shadowing, filaments, etc. This automated solution supports a clean and reproducible production system equipped with fiMAP software.
