H2Wtech.jpgH2W Technologies Inc.’s SR linear positioning stages are available in travel lengths as long as 3 m. The lightweight, compact single-rail stages operate at 6 m/s, with acceleration up to 12 g, load capacity of 25 kg, repeatability to ±1 μm and resolution to 0.1 μm. The noncontact three-phase brushless motors have an ironless core winding that results in a low moving mass stage for higher acceleration. The stages have continuous forces up to 733 N and peak forces up to 2444 N, and they can be supplied with a magnetic, glass or metal scale linear encoder with a reference mark and limit switches.
