POWER SUPPLY HiTek Power has developed a power supply for YAG lasers and other intense pulsed-light systems. The SM10 10-W simmer module gets its power from a 24-VDC supply, making it well-suited for medical applications. It provides up to 100 mA of simmer current at 100 V and incorporates a trigger pulse output to drive an external trigger transformer. The company offers custom versions, either as stand-alone supplies or integrated into a dedicated flashlamp driver unit.
