The new PPS-50-90OEMDP from Portable Power Systems Inc. is a 90-V microprocessor-controlled OEM laser diode driver.

It operates from a single 12-V supply and is controlled via USB or RS-232 interface. It features over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature for the driver and laser, as well as emergency stop, coolant interlock and remote interlock.

The new laser diode driver also offers optional features such as an external trigger-in, sync out, current monitor out and a Q-switch trigger. Users can store up to 16 sets of parameters for recall.
