Lambda Research Corp. has released version 1.3 of its TracePro virtual pro- totyping software. Applications include analyzing and designing optical, illumination, display, medical, automotive and aerospace systems. The software features the ACIS version 3.0 modeling engine at its core, in addition to aperture diffraction, bulk absorption, new macro commands, a report menu and blackbody sources. It also offers light source input using measuring data from Radiant Imaging Inc.
