IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 30, 2013 — The PS-1P peg adapter post from Newport Corp. optimizes the versatility of 1-in.-diameter optical pedestal assemblies by allowing the pedestals or other compatible components to be easily removed or installed while maintaining their location in an optical setup.

There is no need to rotate the mating parts when installing or removing the pedestals, posts or post holders, making the device suitable for assemblies that have no access to mounting screws from the top and for larger assemblies using several posts.
