PSC-SR54N and PSC-SR54NV Self-Contained Pyrometers

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J., June 13, 2014 — With a choice of two sighting methods, the stand-alone PSC-SR54N and PSC-SR54NV self-contained pyrometers from Process Sensors Corporation deliver high resolution fixed-focus optics with small spot sizes, digital RS485 communication interface and analog 4 to 20 mA output.

The devices allow temperature ranges spanning from 500 to 3000 °C, with a choice of integrated red laser or video camera sighting. They can also be used as single wavelength pyrometers. In the switchable single wavelength mode, operators have the choice of obtaining output signals from shorter or longer wavelengths, or both via analog and serial communication ports.

PSCSpot software is included, allowing for simple setup of IR thermometer parameters, multi-tasking and data recording in graphical, text or tabular format. The pyrometers are suited for applications in heat treating, kilns, composites and sintering.
