LAWRENCE, Mass., March 3, 2014 — Spectral Evolution has released the PSR-3500 remote sensing bundle for a range of remote sensing applications.

The bundle is built around the proprietary PSR-3500 UV-VIS-NIR field-portable spectroradiometer, which features a 350- to 2500-nm spectral range and autoshutter, autoexposure and autodark correction before each scan.

The bundle also includes a foam-lined Pelican case; a 5 × 5 white reflectance plate with cover and tripod mount; a Getac PS-336 handheld microcomputer with built-in digital camera; and a 4º screw-on field-of-view lens.

Applications include vegetation, forest canopy and water body studies; environmental, agricultural and atmospheric research; soil analysis; plant species identification; satellite data correlation; geological remote sensing; and ground truthing.
